Government Internal Comms / Training Video

Initially we were working with the NSW Juvenile Justice Department on several Internal Comms videos. Then we were asked in for a meeting to discuss a new initiative. This would be for training video needs with the first of a series of compliance and information videos.

Dynamic After Effects – Training Video Intro

As a result of this meeting, we were tasked with coming up with a corporate After Effect Intro video. Therefore, we needed to incorporate a number of different aspects of the Security and Intelligence Team. This included key messaging and their objectives.

Planning for the Video Edit

The effects video needed to be around 30 seconds. So we created a montage of clips that demonstrated different aspects of the job. Consequently, we set up a number of scenes and scenarios. For instance, this included:

Meetings,

Detention centre,

Spot searching,

Police dog that’s trained to find contraband.

Presenter to Camera

As part of the intro, we needed to include a piece to camera with the Head of the Department. Therefore, he addressed the audience directly. We included this as a main feature and also part of the montage. We also included closed caption subtitles.

Series of Internal Comms Videos – Compliance

To clarify, this intro was conceived to represent the different parts of the job. These videos would be used as a guide and update for the staff that operate all over New South Wales. This includes Juvenile Detention Centres all over the state. We also provided a Visitor and Contractor Induction video for the Frank Baxter Detention Centre.

Working for Government

Due to the confidential nature of the government internal comms videos, we can only show you limited video examples. We created this intro using After Effects. This government department is using more engaging ways to communicate with its internal teams and colleagues. We have been working for government organisations over many years including local councils.
